The EXPANSE series is a brush cutter designed for the professional mowing of grass and shrubbery, intended for continuous use in large green areas, road shoulders, embankments, and landscape maintenance settings where it is necessary to cover large areas while maintaining the stability and precision characteristic of Hymach brush-cutting arms.
Thanks to the kinematics of the mower arm—which features two main joints and a telescopic end section —EXPANSE can operate right up against the wheel, keeping the cutting head within the tractor’s outline and preventing an increase in the overall width on the roadway. This tractor-mounted mower is particularly effective for work along road infrastructure and in settings where operational safety is a priority.
Under all operating conditions, even at maximum depth extension, the boom-mounted mulcher ensures structural stability, continuous operation, and high productivity, and is suitable for both intensive road use and environmental remediation and maintenance work.
The Hymach central brush cutter arm consists of two main joints combined with one or two telescopic sections, featuring a swivel joint that rotates up to 95° and a dedicated support system for the rest position. The arm’s lateral positioning relative to the operator ensures a direct view of the work area, improving control of the cutting head and precision during mowing operations, even under challenging operating conditions.
The EXPANSE series is available with an operating reach of 6 to 10 meters, measured from the PTO connection to the end of the head, depending on the model and configuration selected. The boom structure is made of high-strength steel, characterized by high elasticity, fatigue resistance, and long-term durability —qualities that ensure structural reliability even under intensive and continuous use.
The boom can be configured for road use or land reclamation, to adapt to different operational needs and work environments.
