The company was founded on September 23, 1983, based on the experience of Cav. Giacinto Ricci, who to this day continues to guide the company and uphold its values—values he has developed through firsthand knowledge of fieldwork and its real operational needs.
From the very beginning, Hymach has based its development on a clear and concrete principle: listening to those who use the machines every day. Direct contact with operators, specialized companies, and organizations involved in the management of roadside, highway, and local green spaces has always been the starting point for designing truly effective solutions.
This philosophy, rooted in a passion for mechanics, technical expertise, and a focus on real-world applications, has become the cornerstone of the company’s identity over time and continues to guide every project.
Hymach is a company with a strong industrial and technical identity, focused on designing robust, well-balanced, and reliable machines, engineered to ensure uninterrupted operation even under challenging conditions.
The company’s vision is forward-looking, yet always grounded in the present: innovation means anticipating the industry’s needs without losing touch with the day-to-day reality of those in the field. Every machine is the result of a balance between proven experience, technological advancement, and the ability to address the new challenges of landscape maintenance.
The goal is to provide work tools that are not merely functional, but that offer tangible operational support, capable of improving the efficiency, safety, and quality of operations.
Hymach does more than just operate in the landscape maintenance sector: it works in the field, alongside those who perform this work every day. Roads, embankments, slopes, levees, bike paths, agricultural areas, and complex environments require specific solutions designed to operate with precision and reliability.
That is why the company develops standard machines optimized for intensive professional use, customized configurations, and tailor-made solutions, as well as special applications designed to meet specific operational needs.
Every project begins with an analysis of actual working conditions, with the goal of providing stable, well-balanced machines designed to handle even complex situations with complete control, thereby improving efficiency, safety, and the quality of the work.
Over the years, Hymach has developed a comprehensive and diverse range of professional solutions designed to meet a wide variety of operational needs in the landscape maintenance sector.
The company’s first products were central mower arms, with operating reaches of up to 18 meters. This technology remains one of Hymach’s long-standing areas of expertise and a benchmark for the industry, thanks to its ability to ensure operational efficiency, balance, and return on investment.
Building on this expertise, the product line has expanded to include rear-mounted mower decks for tractors, straddle mowers for working near obstacles, vacuum mowers with integrated collection of clippings, professional hedge trimmers for maintaining hedges and trees, mulching heads for grass and shrubs, and specialized equipment for specific applications, such as branch cutters, haymaking bars, ditch cutters, bank cutters, and street-cleaning brushes.
All Hymach machines are available in various configurations and can be mounted on tractors, multipurpose trucks, and multi-purpose tool carriers, ensuring maximum versatility in use.
At Hymach, innovation always stems from concrete operational needs. A key milestone in this journey occurred in 2009, with the growing proliferation of ground-mounted photovoltaic systems, which introduced new requirements for surface maintenance and cleaning.
In this context, Hymach has developed SOLARCLEAN, a machine specifically designed for cleaning photovoltaic panels, capable of operating without risk of damage thanks to an advanced automatic brush adjustment system. This solution helps maintain high system efficiency while ensuring safe and continuous operation.
Originally designed as an attachment for tractors and self-propelled vehicles, SOLARCLEAN has evolved over time into a dedicated radio-controlled vehicle, further improving operational control, operator safety, and the effectiveness of operations, particularly on difficult terrain or steep slopes.
The experience gained with SOLARCLEAN represents a key step in the development of a new technical vision: the design of machines capable of operating under extreme conditions, minimizing the risk to the operator and increasing the level of remote control.
This development gave rise to HERBHY, the radio-controlled multipurpose tool carrier designed to operate on difficult terrain, uneven surfaces, and steep slopes, where the use of manned vehicles is challenging or impractical.
Thanks to its tracked design, HERBHY ensures high stability and traction, while its system of quickly interchangeable attachments extends its use to numerous sectors: landscape maintenance, agriculture, fruit growing, viticulture, forestry, snow removal, construction, and firefighting.
The HERBHY line has evolved rapidly, branching out into versions that differ in power, size, and operating configurations. The positive market response has confirmed the validity of this vision, making HERBHY one of the projects that best exemplifies Hymach’s capacity for innovation.
Hymach is an industrial manufacturer that has built its identity by combining design tradition, technological innovation, and a forward-looking vision.
Hymach’s ability to develop standard solutions, customized configurations, and tailor-made projects enables it to support professionals, specialized companies, and public agencies in selecting the solution best suited to their specific operational needs, ensuring operational continuity, long-term reliability, and optimal return on investment.
For over forty years, Hymach has continued to evolve its product line while remaining true to the spirit that defined its origins: looking to the future without losing touch with the realities of the workplace, designing machines and solutions capable of meeting today’s operational challenges and anticipating those of tomorrow.
