Flexor System Implemented in Trusty Models

With Trusty Flexor, we have developed an articulated-arm machine designed to meet the needs of modern roadside green space maintenance—a sector in which operational complexity is determined not only by the areas to be treated but, above all, by the working conditions: embankments, elevation changes, confined spaces, and traffic. At the heart of the project is the innovative Flexor system, a technology developed in-house by Hymach that optimizes the boom’s kinematics, ensuring smooth, controlled, and consistently predictable movements. Thanks to its unique configuration featuring a double-articulated, guided arm and a telescopic boom, the Trusty Flexor maintains a constant orientation of the equipment relative to the vehicle, improving work precision and reducing the need for operator corrections.

This solution offers tangible benefits, especially when working on slopes and along road edges, where it is essential to minimize the machine’s footprint on the roadway without compromising operational capacity. The boom can extend upward or clear obstacles while keeping the machine compact and stable, helping to increase safety and efficiency even in the most challenging environments, such as hilly or mountainous areas, or those with particularly uneven terrain. The ability to quickly retract the machine into a compact configuration also facilitates movement and transport operations.

Rounding out the system is a mulching head designed to offer high versatility and a high-quality finish, with various configurations available to meet specific operational needs. For road maintenance operations, an optional blower is also available, which allows mowed material to be removed directly during operation, keeping the roadway clean and improving traffic safety. With the Trusty Flexor, we are bringing to market a solution that combines innovation, control, and reliability, offering operators an effective tool to tackle the daily challenges of roadside green space maintenance with greater ease and precision.
