HerbHy 30 Radio-Controlled Brush Cutter

HerbHy 30 Radio-Controlled Brush Cutter

HerbHy30

The latest addition to the HerbHy series is the compact version of the radio-controlled tool carrier. The new version features a more compact design while retaining the winning features of its larger counterparts, in response to market demand for a compact design without sacrificing efficiency. In line with Hymach’s flagship product, the lawn mower, the HerbHy 30 was launched with a mulching head, and the machine as a whole immediately proved itself—in all tests conducted—to be a high-performance radio-controlled brush cutter capable of handling particularly challenging situations.

The HerbHy 30 is smaller but retains all the distinctive features of its bigger brother, the HerbHy 40. The reversible fan, automatic hydraulic track tensioning, high grip of the rubber tracks, and tool head lifting jacks—which are controlled by oil pressure rather than springs—remain unchanged and continue to be key strengths of the machine. The exceptionally powerful system and the distinctive Hymach mulching head guarantee reliability—even on slopes of 55°—throughout the entire workday, as well as long-term durability.
The hydraulic system features closed-loop radial piston motors for ground engagement, a track locking system on the motors, a closed-loop piston motor on the toolhead, closed-loop variable-displacement piston pumps, a gear pump for auxiliary functions, an electro-hydraulic control valve for auxiliary functions, an electro-hydraulic control valve for the cutting head, a heat exchanger with a reversible fan, and a hydraulic oil tank with a capacity of 25 liters.

It retains the distinctive “turtle-shell” enclosure that protects all sensitive parts and prevents the buildup of twigs and debris from processing—which, for machines operating under these conditions, are often the cause of accidental breakdowns and overheating of the vehicle— as well as the integrated roll bar, which is an integral part of the structure, making it particularly sturdy, along with high-visibility LED headlights for nighttime work and a standard rotating beacon.

Although it does not have aHerbhy30_1511_r (20)Herbhy30_1511_r (27)Hydraulic track widening; if necessary, the undercarriage can still be widened manually, so with a simple operation, the vehicle’s stability can be further increased for jobs that require it. All this in just 950 kg in operating order. The 8-roller tracked undercarriage has a track width of 1,320 mm, which can be manually widened up to 1,620 mm, and the tracks are available in different versions to suit various working conditions. A 4-point hitch system is integrated for lifting the machine.

The control console, equipped with a control panel, allows the operator to control the machine from the ground, enabling even the most difficult tasks to be performed safely, and with the systemHerbhy30_1511_r (14)With the remote viewing system (optional), the operator has full control over the area being maintained. The forward and reverse speed ranges from 0 to 7 km/h, with a speed control potentiometer that can be adjusted continuously from 0 to 100%; a potentiometer also allows for correction of the travel direction (offset) when working on slopes, and the display shows the track speed control. It is also possible to connect the radio remote control via a wire in case of emergency, and audible and visual alarms are provided for exceeding the maximum gradient, system overheating, diesel engine overheating, engine oil pressure issues, exceeding the radio remote control’s communication range, and reversed drive commands.

In the most recent demonstrations in which it participated, the Herbhy 30—in its radio-controlled brushcutter version—performed exceptionally well in terms of both productivity and maneuverability, and received excellent feedback from those who tested it and those who already use it regularly. Once again, Hymach is applying itself with unwavering enthusiasm to meeting the needs of the professional market, which still believes in quality products and the manufacturer’s commitment to excellence.
