The EXTREME XXL was designed for mowing exceptionally deep slopes, where extreme performance and an above-standard operating reach are required. At 18 meters long, it is the longest brush-cutting boom in the Hymach lineup, while still maintaining compactness, balance, and the ability to work right up against the wheel, even in tight spaces.
The boom is mounted centrally on the tractor via a dedicated frame, custom-built to fit around the vehicle without being intrusive, with a hydraulically operated upper housing that opens to facilitate tractor maintenance.
The Hymach brush-cutting arm on the EXTREME XXL consists of two main joints, designed to ensure a wide range of motion and maneuverability in both height and depth.
To achieve an operating reach of 18 meters, the brush cutter is equipped with an internal telescopic mechanism in the first boom and a five-stage telescopic extension, which allows for smooth, controlled, and gradual extension even when fully loaded.
This configuration allows the mower arm to reach very deep slopes while maintaining stability, balance, and a compact lateral footprint. The 95° rotation at the hinge allows for extremely flexible positioning, while the optimized arm geometry enables operation right up against the wheel āwithout protruding beyond the wheelbaseāeven at maximum extension.
The entire structure, which has an elongated hexagonal shape, is made of high-strength steel, ensuring high mechanical strength, controlled elasticity, and durability even under severe conditions.
