ROADEAGLE MAXI

Straddle-type brush cutter with an extra-sturdy frame for mowing around obstacles in harsh conditions

Operational Focus

ROAD-EAGLE MAXI is the Hymach straddle-type brush cutter designed for continuous professional mowing of grass around vertical obstacles such as guardrail posts, poles, road signs, trees, and other fixed objects along the roadside, even under particularly demanding conditions. Its exceptionally robust construction is designed to handle areas with dense vegetation and steep slopes without compromising operational efficiency.

Key Specifications

The straddle carrier is mounted on a self-supporting frame with a tilt-lock system.

The structure is made of high-strength, high-elasticity steel, with treated and ground bushings and pins, jacks equipped with control valves, and top-quality hydraulic components designed for high performance and long service life. The prismatic-section columns incorporate the oil passage tube internally, protecting it from accidental damage and contributing to the overall robustness of the system.

The vertical lifting system for the outer mast and its associated cutting unit is designed to easily clear vertical obstacles along the work path, such as traffic signs or trees, allowing for uninterrupted operation without halting the mowing process.

The upper crossbar is removable, to increase the distance between the cutting blades and allow the machine to fit under wider guardrails.

With the optional automatic leveling and adjustment device for the mower units, the mower decks adapt in real time to the terrain, maintaining a position that is constantly parallel to the ground. This solution improves mowing quality, ensures a uniform cut, and increases operating speed, even when the ground is uneven or has elevation changes.

With the optional containment barrier —equipped with a continuously adjustable width system capable of following the contour of the guardrail —it is possible to effectively limit the scattering of mowed material and debris during mowing operations, thereby increasing safety in the presence of vehicular traffic or in sensitive areas. The hydraulic drive ensures smooth and precise positioning, allowing the operator to quickly adjust the configuration directly from the cab, with tangible benefits in terms of operational efficiency, road safety, and uninterrupted operation.

In addition to the front-mounted tractor version (TF), it is also available for rear-mounted installation on tractors with a reversible steering system (TR).
