EXPANSE JS is an articulated mower developed for landscape maintenance, particularly well-suited for use on narrow roads, hilly terrain, and mountainous areas, where precision, boom control, and a reduced lateral footprint are required.
It is mounted on multipurpose self-propelled vehicles via a detachable self-supporting frame with a hydraulic quick-coupling system, ensuring excellent visibility and operational stability even on difficult terrain.
This mower arm consists of two main joints plus a telescopic extension with one or two sections, depending on the selected operating length.
The heart of the system consists of a constrained double-jointed geometry, achieved through a connecting plate on the double-connection rotary hinge, which creates an articulated kinematic chain capable of keeping the head aligned vertically with the vehicle’s trajectory.
The Hymach brush cutter arm is made of shaped sheet metal from high-strength, fine-grained structural steel, with a single weld, and is equipped with adjustable skids made of wear-resistant, self-lubricating material to ensure controlled flexibility, precision in movement, and durability, while maintaining an optimized structural weight.
The design of the segments and the telescopic boom allow the machine to operate right up against the curb, reaching even the deepest parts of the embankments without encroaching on the opposite lane, thereby improving safety and operational efficiency.
The EXPANSE FLEXOR JS is available with boom working lengths ranging from 6 to 9 meters, measured from the PTO attachment to the end of the boom.
