FRUIT is a rear-mounted brush cutter with a hydraulic arm, equipped with an interchangeable rotor mulching head, designed to operate in environments characterized by tall obstacles —typical of terraced vineyards and orchards— as well as on slopes, narrow roads, and areas with limited visibility.
The boom-mounted brush cutter can be used either in an over-the-obstacle configuration—to clear rows of plants, poles, support structures, or vertical signage—or as a traditional long-reach brush-cutting boom, offering a high degree of operational flexibility. The compact design and articulated kinematics of this tractor-mounted brush cutter allow for effective use even with narrow-track tractors, ensuring maneuverability, implement control, and continuous operation—hallmarks of Hymach brush cutters.
FRUIT is equipped with a three-segment articulated mowing arm with a telescopic end section, connected to the machine unit via a 95° rotating hinge. This configuration allows the arm-mounted mulcher to adopt a wide variety of head positions, enabling the working setup to be precisely adapted to different operating conditions while maintaining a compact footprint and stability even on compact tractors.
The telescopic extension is a significant advantage because it allows the Hymach brush-cutting arm to adjust its operating depth without altering the arm’s overall geometry and without requiring constant tractor maneuvers. This solution allows the cutting head to be moved closer to or farther from the work area in a gradual and controlled manner, improving mowing precision near rows of plants, slopes, or tall obstacles, while at the same time reducing the need for the tractor to move around.
The boom-mounted mulcher is available with a boom extension of up to 6.0 meters, measured from the PTO coupling to the end of the head. The telescopic extension allows for effective working depths even when operating on slopes, maintaining balance, control of the implement, and continuous operation even on uneven terrain with elevation changes.
