The new version of Juice for tracked compact tractors was developed in response to the specific needs of grape and fruit growers, and it complements the version designed for attachment to a lift.
Juice is designed to mow grass and shrubs in vineyards and orchards while navigating between rows of plants. Despite its small size, it features a remarkably long boom made of high-strength steel, which is essential for maintaining the strength-to-weight ratio needed to mount the machine on small tractors—such as those used in orchards—and to allow it to maneuver between rows of grapevines and fruit trees.
The arm is equipped with a rotation system that allows it to be folded forward, as in this version, or backward, as in the traditional version, to minimize its size when moving through passages that are often very narrow.
The boom’s three-point articulation allows it to pass over the row of plants and mow the adjacent lane, but it is also possible to use the boom at its maximum extension, which is 4,600 mm on this model.
The same articulation principle used in the Juice, when the machine is mounted on wheeled tractors, proves particularly useful for roadside landscaping maintenance where there are vertical obstacles and the roadways are particularly narrow.
The base version includes high-efficiency gear pumps and a hydraulic control valve, but the system can also be configured with a piston pump and a proportional electro-hydraulic control valve (
) operated via a single-lever joystick.
The mower head, with a cutting width of 1,100 mm, has also been designed to ensure efficient production and cutting quality that meets Hymach’s standards, thanks in part to the design of the housing, which facilitates the discharge of clippings.
